Funding
The project has been partially funded by a $1.5 million grant from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) to securely exchange healthcare information over a three-year period with matching funds ($1.5M) committed by the participants. An additional $500,000 in Pennsylvania Department of Health grants will allow the initiative to be expanded to include other healthcare organizations in the region and provide education on the experience gained from this project.
